Maine man indicted for allegedly setting fire to Black church in Massachusetts

BOSTON (WGME) — A Maine man charged with setting fire to a predominantly Black church in Massachusetts has been indicted by a federal grand jury. Court documents say he was motivated by racism. Dushko Vulchev of Houlton was previously charged by criminal complaint last year. He’s accused of setting fire to the church in n Springfield, Massachusetts in December 2020.
