Man City footballer Benjamin Mendy not guilty of rape

Man City footballer Benjamin Mendy has been found not guilty of six counts of rape and one count of sexual assault against five women.

The jury has been discharged after it failed to reach a verdict on two further charges against the footballer.

Co-accused Louis Saha Matturie was found not guilty of three counts of rape against two women.

Jurors were unable to reach verdicts on six further charges against him.
